The Riviera, by Sholem Aleichem (Fun der Riviera) performed by Shane Baker

Resort vacations, rest cures, doctors, and, of course, medical bills. First published in 1909, the piece could as easily have been written yesterday. When Purim comes, it’s time to start heading home for Passover, which means it’s also time to settle with the doctor he’s been seeing on the Riviera all winter… A tale that might have come from Sholem Aleichem’s own life.
