What the West Needs to Know
“If their central thesis is true – and it’s worth considering – then
this is the most horrific film of the 21st century so far.”
– The Charlotte Observer
NEW YORK – Since 9/11, virtually every major Western leader has expressed the view that Islam is a peaceful religion and that those who commit violence in its name are fanatics who misinterpret its tenets. A new documentary, ISLAM: WHAT THE WEST NEEDS TO KNOW [July 17, 2007 – Disinformation Company] challenges that very sentiment and finally asks the question,
IS ISLAM ITSELF A VIOLENT RELIGION?
Directors Gregory M. Davis and Bryan Daly believe it is.
“While there are peaceful Muslims, there is no peaceful Islam,” say co-directors Gregory M. Davis and Bryan Daly. “Americans have to come to grips with the fact that we are witnessing today nothing less than the resurgence of the most destructive and intolerant ideology in world history, which for a thousand years fought to destroy Western civilization, and which in the twenty-first century threatens to do so again.”
Through an examination of the Koran, other Islamic texts, and the example of the prophet Muhammad, this scholarly documentary establishes that violence against non-Muslims is and has always been an integral aspect of Islam.
ISLAM: WHAT THE WEST NEEDS TO KNOW consists of original interviews, citations from Islamic texts, Islamic artwork, computer-animated maps, footage of Western leaders, and Islamic television broadcasts. It also features interviews with noted experts on Islam including renowned author Robert Spencer, American historian, journalist, political analyst and foreign affairs editor Serge Trifkovic, British author and lecturer Bat Ye’or, Middle-Eastern author Abdullah Al-Araby, and former terrorist Walid Shoebat.
